Mark Wilson I had a fantastic time with Craig and Extremadura Predatory Fishing. It was not meant for me to catch my first pike on this trip but that is why I'm going back in winter. I would recommend Extremadura Predatory Fishing and Craig to any one that wants to go fishing in Spain. He is an experienced angler, his boat and facilities are brand new, latest tech and in great condition and Craig is just a great guy to fish with. The lakes in Extremadura are in such good condition... I have never seen so much bait fish... which i think makes the fishing tougher😉 Thanks again Craig, till the next time!

Water levels rising

We haven’t been fishing for a while due to Mothers Day, we have been away visiting family for a while. 

In the meanwhile its been raining here in Extremadura and the lakes are filling up nicely, its going to be a great year.

Theres not much call for vertical fishing in the UK,  however here in Extremadura its a very productive and enjoyable way to fish.  

In the cooler months when targeting Pike, Bass, Zander and even the big Barbel, its a technique we use regularly as the predators are in deeper water. 

  For those of you that are not familiar with vertical fishing, here is a great video explaining the basics of the technique.
